Administration & contributor, Padraig Og O Ruairc is a native of South-east Clare. He is the author of two books on the 1913 -1923 period, “Blood On The Banner – The Republican Struggle in Clare” and “The Battle For Limerick” He works seasonally for the Irish Heritage service at Fort Charles in Kinsale and is currently researching the Anglo Irish Truce for a Ph D in the University of Limerick. Contributor, Cormac Ó Comhraí is a native of county Galway. He teaches History and Irish in Co. Galway. Cormac has been researching the history of his native county for many years, and has a particular interest in the War of Independence period. Cormac has given talks on aspects of the War of Independence in Galway and would be more than happy to do so again. He would also be interested in hearing from anybody who may have sources not held in archives. Cormac has, with another teacher, established a history library in the school where he teaches. He has also created a website detailing the books currently in this library. Contributor Stanley C. Jenkins is secretary of the “Soldiers Of Oxfordshire Trust” and a historian specialising in local and regional history. He is the author of an article “The Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry in Ireland 1919 -1923″ which appeared in Bugle & Sabre Magazine. As well as military history Stanley has a long-standing interest in Oxfordshire local history and is currently writing a history of Witney for Phillimore Press.
